Brief Bio
Professor Mohammad S. Obaidat (Fellow of IEEE and Fellow of SCS) is an internationally well-known academic/researcher/scientist. He received his Ph.D. and M. S. degrees in Computer Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, USA. Dr. Obaidat is currently the Chair and Full Professor of Computer and Information Science at Fordham University, NY, USA. He has received extensive research funding and has published Forty Six (46) books and over Six Hundreds and Eighty (680) refereed technical articles in scholarly international journals and proceedings of international conferences, and currently working on three more books. Mohammad is the Editor-in-Chief of the Wiley International Journal of Communication Systems, the FTRA Journal of Convergence and the KSIP Journal of Information Processing. He is also an Editor of IEEE Wireless Communications. He is now an editor of the Wiley Security and Communication Networks Journal, Journal of Networks, International Journal of Information Technology, Communications and Convergence, IJITCC, Inderscience. Prof. Obaidat is an associate editor/editorial board member of seven other refereed scholarly journals. He has guest edited numerous special issues of scholarly journals. Jalel Ben-Othman

Brief Bio
Prof. Ben-Othman received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees both in Computer Science from the University of  Pierre et Marie Curie, (Paris 6) France in 1992, and 1994 respectively. He received his PhD degree from the University of Versailles, France, in 1998. He is currently full professor at the University of Paris 13 since 2011 and member of L2S lab at CentraleSupélec. Dr. Ben-Othman's research interests are in the area of wireless ad hoc and sensor networks, VANETs, IoT, performance evaluation and  security in wireless networks in general. He was the recipient of the IEEE COMSOC Communication Software tech nical committee Recognition Award in 2016, the IEEE computer society Meritorious Service Award in 2016,  and he is a Golden Core Member of IEEE Computer Society, AHSN Exceptional Service and Contribution Award in 2018 and the VEHCOM Fabio Neri award in 2018. He is currently in steering committee of IEEE Transaction on Mobile computing (IEEE TMC), an editorial board member of several journals (IEEE Networks, IEEE COMML, JCN, IJCS, SPY, Sensors…). He has also served as TPC Co-Chair for  IEEE Globecom and ICC conferences and other conferences as   (WCNC, IWCMC, VTC, ComComAp, ICNC, WCSP,  Q2SWinet, P2MNET, WLN,....).  He was the chair of the IEEE Ad Hoc and sensor networks technical committee January 2016-2018, he was previously the vice chair and secretary for this committee. He has been appointed as IEEE COMSOC distinguished lecturer from 2015 to 2018 where he did several tours all around the world. He is member of IEEE technical services board since 2016.

Brief Bio
Pierangela Samarati is a Professor at the Computer Science Department of the Università degli Studi di Milano. Her main research interests are access control policies, models and systems, data security and privacy, information system security, and information protection in general. She has participated in several projects involving different aspects of information protection. On these topics she has published more than 230 papers appeared in journals, conference proceedings, and books. She is co-author of the book "Database Security," Addison-Wesley, 1995. She has been Computer Scientist in the Computer Scienc e Laboratory at SRI, CA (USA). She has been a visiting researcher at the Computer Science Department of Stanford University, CA (USA), and at the Center for Secure Information Systems, George Mason University, VA (USA). She is the chair of the IEEE Systems Council Technical Committee on Security and Privacy in Complex Information Systems (TCSPCIS), and of the Steering Committees of the European Symposium on Research in Computer Security (ESORICS) and of the ACM Workshop on Privacy in the Electronic Society (WPES). She is the Coordinator of the Working Group on Security of the Italian Association for Information Processing (AICA), the Italian representative in the IFIP (International Federation for Information Processing) Technical Committee 11 (TC-11) on "Security and Privacy". She is a member of the Steering Committee of: ACM Symposium on InformAtion, Computer and Communications Security (ASIACCS), International Conference on Information Systems Security (ICISS), and International Conference on Information and Communications Security (ICICS). In 2008, she has received the IFIP TC11 Kristian Beckman Award. In 2009, she has been named ACM Distinguished Scientist. In 2012, she has been named IEEE Fellow. In 2012, she has received the IFIP WG 11.3 Outstanding Research Contributions Award. She has served on the program committees of various conferences. Sabrina De Capitani di Vimercati is a Professor at the Computer Science Department, Università degli Studi di Milano. She received the Laurea and PhD degrees both in Computer Science from the Università degli Studi di Milano, Italy, in 1996 and 2001, respectively. Her research interests are in the area of information security, databases, and information systems. On these topics she has published more than 210 refereed technical papers in international journals, conference proceedings, and chapters in books. She has been an international fellow in the Computer Science Laboratory at SRI, CA (USA), and she has been a visiting researcher at the Center for Secure Information Systems, George Mason University, VA (USA). She is member of the Steering Committees of the European Symposium on Research in Computer Security (ESORICS) and of the ACM Workshop on Privacy in the Electronic Society (WPES). She is co-recipient of the ACM-PODS'99 Best Newcomer Paper Award. She has served as General Chair, Program Chair, and program committee member of several international conferences.
